A Design And Realization Of Municipal Engineering Management System Based On SuperMap GIS

The old city facility data need to be updated , At the same time a lot of new added data need to be input database and managed. With the carrying forward of electronic government affairs,the government and public have more high demand to municipal engineering management. Only taken advanced informationalization measures, we could meet the need of times .It is a great significance and urgent thing to build a management system in municipal engineering management based on geographic information system technology.The municipal engineering management system based on SuperMap GIS focus on common data model of city facility,data management,sharing mechanism,and dynamic update through net technology,GIS,distributed database technology .The system can achieve integration of city facility data and web .construct a work flat for municipal administration department and other related users, the municipal administration department can use it to resolve municipal engineering and daily web office. Added to ,it also support municipal management information and society service online.A prototype system has come true according to the system design, and then compare to the requirement of YiWu municipal engineering management system, using some example data to test the system .The result is quite good. It proves that the design is reasonable and the program is correct. Being adopting popular advanced computer techniques such as the object oriented programming,content management system technology, which is convenient for the system maintenance. Now the system runs very flexible. It also have some other advantages .Such as it can be used convenient,it has practical and common appliance ,So it can be spread easily.
