Study On Reliability Of The Wuxi Marshalling Station's Work

Marshalling station is a station that is in charge of organizing the freight transportation, and its task is about managing the arrival,transferring and departure of off-line train changing or in-line train keeping. Therefore, marshalling station is not only the basic foundation of railway transportation, but also the mainstay of unimpeded terminal and the link between railway and national economy. Generally, marshalling station is in charge of rolling stock distributing,tractive power exchanging,equipment maintaining and related freight checking, which is why the efficiency is vital for accelerating the sustainable development of railway. The reliability of marshalling station' work is the main indicator of continuous work, while it is the objective criterion of appraising the wholly operation. In fact, the reliability of marshalling station impacts the reliability of the railway system, which impacts the service of railway.This paper through-going analyses all units and work types of Wuxi marshalling station, then the mission,the workflow,information transferring and structure frame are presented. To analyze the reliability, the Boolean algebra method is introduced. Firstly, the fault tree analysis chart of Wuxi marshalling station' workflow is given. Then the weak links and its causes are found out based on the fault tree analysis. At last, this paper gives some improving applied measures, which can help Wuxi marshalling station work well in terms of operation and management. This paper adopts the two-layers Fuzzy compositive appraisal basing on the one-layer compositive appraisal next and make a ultima conclusion which points out the practicability of three accidents about work reliability of Wuxi marshalling station are discussed.
