The office building becomes the miniature of a city's economy strength and the center of people's modern life. The growth of small and medium-sized national companies and increasing of transnational corporations stimulates the need of high quality office buildings. People gradually recognize healthy and comfortable office environment contributes to communication, working efficiency, as well as workers'sound mind and body. The expectation for humanized office environment becomes stronger, and office building's humanized design is concerned by everyone increasingly.In the beginning, the paper analyzes the development of office building home and abroad. From the development of foreign office building, we can learn its advanced experience, and follow the inevitable trend of humanization. As the office building in our country, it starts fairly late, but experiences continuous upgrading, the fourth- generation office building focuses on clients'need, aims to create low cost and high efficiency commercial platform, humanized and environmental office space.
