The Ministry of Railways brings forward the Chinese Train Control System(CTCS) in order to satisfy the requirements of high safety, high efficiency and strong market competitiveness for railway system. With the advancement in the research of CTCS, a series of CTCS specifications will be put into practice. So, it is urgent to justify whether the equipment can meet CTCS standards. Besides, it is only a short time for the CTCS to be proposed, little research has been done concerning the test and evaluation of CTCS equipment. Although there are some published ETCS specifications concerning the test of ETCS onboard equipment, research must be done to solve the key algorithms.. Moreover, there is no published specification concerning the test of RBC at present, so it is more important and urgent for us to do relative research.This paper focuses on the test methodology of CTCS3 onboard equipment. Firstly, based on the CTCS3 simulation environment already established in our lab, the architecture of the test platform is introduced; secondly, the method of designing the test cases and test sequences based on Chinese Postman Problem is described so as to make the test complete and simple; finally, the method of obtaining test sequences based on the Chinese postman problem algorithm and the design of test scenario generator are described, laying a good foundation for automatic test.
