The Research Of Liaoning Coastal Megalopolis Developing Strategy

After the central government had developed Zhujiang River Delta and Yangtze Delta successfully, they set up the new national strategy of developing the old North-East industrial base and Bohai Bay region. In this instance, Liaoning decided to improve the outside economy and drive the developing of industrialization and urbanization, to construct "Five Points and One Line", struggle to Build Coastal Economic Belt, to push the developing of coastal region and inland.Megalopolis is the highest organizational form when Urban Agglomerations develop to mature. It is a group of large cites with close relation and nearby position, it is belt alone some road. The organization of Megalopolis drives the communication of each city, pushes the urbanization, fastens the developing of small cities, fastens the changes of industry, pushes the regional economy. Therefore, building a Megalopolis with booming economy, rational position, convenient communication and beautiful environment will drive regional economy and achieve national strategy.At first, through the analysis of the current status of Liaoning coastal region, this paper explores the main problems of developing. Furthermore, according to the developing experience of foreign and internal coastal region, it gives some suggestion about the following aspects: identifying of planning goals, distributing of urban function and roles, changes of population, construction of regional infrastructure, environmental protect and sustainable development.
