The main bridge of Ta Shan bridge in Qing Tian is a rigid-frame bridge of V-type pier of pre-stressed concrete, which is 80m+120m+80m meters long. The span of the bridge is so long that it ranks in the front of the similar domestic bridges. The skew leg of V-type pier is 20 meters long, and the vertical height is 15.17 meter. The pier table is 37 meters long. The volume of concrete is 1116 m3 . The dimension of V-type pier ranks first in our country.How to guarantee the security of skew legs during cantilever construction is the key point of construction phase.the construction and monitoring of V-type pier are the very important and difficult parts of the bridge. This paper makes the detailed researchs on the construction and monitoring of Ta Shan Bridge.The Detailed researchs on the five parts of Ta Shan Bridges have been made, such as on the construction of skew legs of V-type pier, the construction of 0 segment of V-type pier, the construction and monitoring of V-type pier,the rhombus form traveler and the cantilever construction.For the construction of skew leg of the V-type piers, According to the V-type pier's structural feature and the constructional circumstance of the site, the supporting frame is supposed and composed of equalizer bar of universal rod body, outboard universal rod body of skew legs and inside and outside beam (box iron). The cast of slew legs adopt horizontal top and bottom process, which is divided into two phases. In order to ensure the security of skew legs during construction, the thesis designs the supporting frame of the skew leg and analysis the safety of supporting frame.For the 0 segment construction of slew legs, accounting of the V-type pier's and 0 segment structural feature, suppose a plan which adopts longitudinal segmentation method, and vertical concrete is cast by two steps, and both sides concrete take symmetric cast method. Supporting adopts portal supporting frame, and bottom mould is composed of hunk combinational steel mould. For the safety of the construction and quality, The strength, stiffness and etc. of the supporting frame are checked.The thesis researchs on the technology of construction and monitoring of V-type pier and cantilever construction. And makes a detailed comparatives on construction craft, linear control, stress control and etc. The results may be referenced by the other similar bridge types.
