Through the investigation and analysis of the part of asphalt pavement of highway in Jilin Province which has been completed, the model of highway asphalt pavement traffic evaluation has been founded using PQI Methods and combining the characteristics of domestic and international traffic evaluation model,and an in-depth study has been done on two important indicators of PQI model which are PCI and SSI.According to the "road asphalt pavement maintenance technical specifications" JTJ073.2-2001-related provisions, PCI index is gained by the comprehensivedilapidation of the road surface------DR mainly,which is the surface reflection ofphysical condition and the appearance of the carrying capacity. Through investigations, the road structure can be judged on the road to the level of identification required for maintenance and improvement of the road, and choose a suitable rehabilitation measures.Pavement damage survey needs the attributes information of three areas: type of damage, grade of damage, damage amount or scope. SSI index calculated by the main road of achieving strength, the bearing capacity of the road structure is usually used to be in no condition to test-based method, the road surface of the road structure of the greatest value and the deflection deflection curve, through the analysis and judgement of the carrying capacity of the road .
