In our country, the construction of cement concrete pavement has a history of forty years. Therefore, a large number of cement concrete pavements built in early stage should be restored universally at present, For making use of the old cement concrete pavements and saving investment, one of the validity measures improve the function of the roads is adopting the overlay of asphalt concrete. As the old concrete pavement rehabilitation and composite pavement structure expand continuously in new road, some prevailing distresses occurred on pavement structure ,which influence traffic seriously ,cause great trouble to maintenance and huge economic lose. This text mainly discusses the investigation and evaluation of the old cement road, kinds of parameter of evaluation, and the settling of the old cement road, and the creation mechanism and the prevention of the reflection crack, and the designing theory of the compound structure of asphalt mixture overlay on used concrete pavement with the calculating methods of the layer thickness, after all the result has been analyzed by contrast with each other. On this foundation, this paper analyzed the mechanical properties of the pavement. On all-directions with ANSYS, during analyze process, consider various factor of the mechanical properties influence of pavement structure .Get variety regulation of the bend-pull stress and the asphalt layer stress, after paving asphalt pavement on the old concrete pavement. According to initiative engineering"Hefei Yihuan"is studied in this paper, which will provide some beneficial experience and references for project design of maintenance and reconstruction on the old cement concrete pavement later on.
