North American light wood frame structures have been introduced in China, which is a new structural system. But until now, the dynamic behavior and seismic performance of light wood frame and light wood-concrete hybrid structures haven't been researched in China, so there are many research works need to do in this field. This paper is mainly based on the research and thesis of reference [2] and [6], and the performance of shearwalls and wood house (contain the first model and the second) were studied through finite element modeling analyses.Finite element analysis of Wood-frame shearwall hinged models contained the small openings(1.2m) model,large openings(3.6m) model,and two windows openings(1.2m×2).The results of finite element analysis was not to be good with the test results which the reference [20] offered,and the problems exist.According to constitutive relation of the nonlinear spring of wood-frame shearwall's equivalent truss model which is defined by foreign scholars,computed and fit the load-displacement curves of the wood-frame shearwalls offered by reference [20],and obtained the cycling curves of nonlinear spring.Finally,modal analysis and linear time-history analysis of finite element models of light wood-concrete hybrid structure were carried out,and these results could be guilding sense to the project design and analysis of the hybrid structure.In the finality,some requiring further studies for the light wood-concrete hybrid structure were discussed.
