Potholes seriously reduce service level of asphalt pavement. Till now, hot-mixed asphalt mixture or emulsified asphalt mixture are mainly used to treat these potholes, during which the hot-mixed way is sensitive to temperature, so it isn't suitable for winter use, or for those small dispersed ones, also it isn't fit repairing of those need reopening quickly. While the emulsified asphalt way, because of its long shaping time, and its not-so-good adhesion, the mixture would easily get loosened. All these problems indicate the necessity of improving the present pothole repairing.Warm-mixed and cold-paved asphalt mixture could be stored after it is produced, and could be used with no limit to temperature. After the performance of this mixture was grasped initially, its researching content and researching way were raised, and the key problem is dispensing of this special binder is also raised. In this research, through analyzing those criterions raised by different countries, the essence of each criterion and the empirical element contained behind the data was pointed out, also a new evaluation way easier to operate was raised. The binder used is cut-back asphalt, and dynamic viscosity at 60℃is used as the control standard. In dispensing of the binder, three matrix asphalt, two additives, and three petroleum solvents are used to define the relationship between dynamic viscosity at 60℃of the cut-back asphalt and dosage of petroleum solvent. After that, dynamic viscosity at 60℃of the remaining asphalt was analyzed. Research of this special binder was to provide more options to dispense it.Performance of the mixture was discussed. After the grade for this mixture was fixed, according to the control criterions, a contrary of performance of those mixtures that used different binders was done, and influencing factors of performance of this mixture was studied, also aim of using those additives was deep discussed.
