Design And Application Research On Power Quality Online Monitor System Based On Network

The power quality in distribution power system is becoming worse. It is important to monitor the power quality in power system. In this paper, the concept of power quality was introduced firstly. The analyze method and measure principle of power quality was discussed secondly. Then, the character of power quality index was summarized.Based on the monitor technology in power quality and the development of web technology, the JingHai power quality monitor system with B/S 3rd-layer structural based on JingHai electrical wide area network. The power quality monitor system can obtain system PQ realtime information, by adopting realtime on-line monitor means, to build useful database which can truly express the PQ, to provide the realtime, detail and precise data information for power departments. After monitor and analysis PQ, we can manage PQ uniformly,operators can more extensively command the system operating situation. It provides reliable reference for improving PQ, and greatly reduces harms brought by the quality problem. Results proclaim that many quality problems such as system voltage (current)'s harmonic, flicker, three-phase imbalance and so on can be monitored and analyzed obviously which has great value to advance system's stability.
