In recent years, since a series of new technology such as speech compressed coding, QAM, TCM, DSP, FPGA technology, high-order digital filtering and echo cancellation technology are adopted in the field of power line carrier communication, traditional test methods and engineering acceptance lagged behind these new technologies obviously, which can not satisfy the needs of present modern power telecommunication technical development. Based upon systemic studies on the testing methods of digital power line carrier and upon numerous tests on domestically made products from most of the power line carrier manufacturers in China, a set of new complete testing method are suggested in this article. And some new concepts are lead into the test method for the first time domestically which are the quality of speech sound, S/N ratio allowed and etc. Besides, according to the fact that there is no power line carrier engineering acceptance test criterion now in China, this paper still makes a set of effective systematic scheme of acceptance for digital power line carrier engineering.
