The purpose of the electric power system is to improve the handiness and strength the stability. One of most important problem is how to make sure the assistant current with the torque and velocity. In order to solution the problem and save the cost, we must make use of the technology of computer emulate. Improving the speed of the design.The AMESim software is designed by the France IMAGINE company. It is used to build the model for the simulation. It designed by the engineer. It can simulate accurate for any system and component. It can provide the resolve scheme quickly and correctly. More important, it provided with interface of other software including Simulink and Admas. By setting up proper parameter, it can unit the simulation, so the process of the simulation will become much simpler and accurate.This paper provided the model of the electric power system. Analyzing the composed of each component one by one, it has given the dynamics equation of each component. Having made use of the simulated software AMESim to have built the EPS emulation model, the mechanical of EPS system is completed in AMESim, the controlled section is within Simulink. By the interface, the two simulation software can simulated at the same time. The final simulation result indicates: the effect of the power-assistance is obvious in the low speed, in the high speed ,the system provide some resistance, helping the pilot gain much better rode feeling, the simulation of the EPS system with the AMESim and Simulink is successful.
