Development Of Test Prototype Of Rolling Bearing Fault Diagnosis

Rolling bearing is the brittle part of rotating machine, a lot of mechanical failure is relevant to the state of rolling bearing. It is obviously that the quality of rolling bearing has a great impact on the working condition. Therefore, the technology of testing rolling bearing is paid a great attention to at home and abroad and has made a great progress in the recent years. The generation of Rolling Bearing Test-bed has allowed the study of Fault Diagnosis in Rolling Bearing. However, it has been limited to use it widely in research because of their function and expansibilityThis paper is dealt against the test-bed's limitation and puts forward the proposition of opening test-bed (OTB).The system has been developed on virtual instruments of multichannel vibration measurement and analysis system based on self developed test-bed as workbench, laboratory virtual instrument workbench (LabVIEW) developed by America National Instruments corporation as development software, essential sensor, signal conditioner and data acquisition card. It can control data acquisition, processing and display in computer, to meet the demand of vibration measurement and analysis. First, fault types and expression forms have been introduced simply and fault vibration characteristics of rolling bearing have been analyzed in the thesis. Second, the theories of vibration signal analysis are discussed. Finally, the design idea of the test-bed is described in detail. And the measurement identification of the system is made. The test-bed can be used to simulate the conditions of working, for example, misalignment, mass unbalance and foundation loosening etc. The software system can runs in Windows XP and is able to do such job as data acquisition, storage, processing and display adopt modularization program.The Rolling Bearing Test-bed is an OTB that based on Virtual Instrument Technology. The experiment result has proved that the method has good expansibility; high cost performance, easy to develop and is fit for engineers.
