Research On Balise Laboratory Test Key Technology And Test Management System

Balise is a key component of Chinese Train Control System (CTCS), whose working principle is based on electromagnetic coupling. A balise system includes onboard equipment BTM (BaliseTransmission Module and Antenna) and trackside balise. It is used to calibrate train positioning error and transmit data to trainborne equipment. As there are several balise manufacturers, for the interoperability and certification test, and for the self-reliance development of balise product, the Lab Test Management System (LTMS) is developed.This thesis aimed at test requirements of Eurobalise test specifications and the functionality test theory, debugged the reference loop, designed the software and hardware of the Lab Test Management System. This thesis complied with there theory and method, designed four kinds of software, established one system, test two major items including five minor items.1. The theory is production functionality test theory, antenna test and the GPIB control method. Based on these, we tested and debugged the antenna, remote controlled spectrum analyzer and power meter.2. The four kinds of software are GPIB control software of the spectrum analyzer and power meter and signal generator, to generate signal and get the data. The PCI control of APT antenna positioning thingamy, to go to the position of the test antenna and the test thingamy, and shift the angle of the balise and these test thingamy. the design of the LabWindows/CVI BTM transmission module control system and the Labview manual test management system.3. The system is the teststand automatic test system. Manage all the test flow. Call the DLL, to initialize the apparatus, position antenna, send signal, read power,and account data, genetate the report and so on.4. The test of the balise equipment are tests of the on-board equipment, including transmission tests, handling of balise sequences, the other is balise up-link conformity measurements in the contact zone, including calibration of 4.2 MHz balise loop current in the contact zone, Balise up-link conformity measurements in the contact zone, and evaluation of up-link conformity in the contact zone.
