Having been constructed many cross-river bridges,cross-sea bridges and cloverleaf junctions in recent years, china presently is in the rapid development of traffic construction period. Due to the traffic overload and some other serious problems, some of the bridge have generated cracks, so that reinforcement is needed to be done. Carbon fiber cloth (CFS), with its advantages of high intensity and efficiency, light weight and durability, convenient for construction, no need for intermit traffic and no change of headroom, has been widely applying in the bridge reinforcement. However, many research was based on the rectangle solid beam, the research on the cored slab , which has been widely applying in bridge engineering, was comparatively less than that of the rectangle solid beam.We used the method of combine finite element analysis and experiment research in this paper, carried out the research of CFS reinforced cored slab's intensity on the cross-section, combined the large-scale software ANSYS and its provided APDL parameter language. By the use of entities units, pole units and shell units, we established CFS reinforced cored slab finite element analysis model, analyzed the ultimate bearing capacity of the reinforced cored slab in different work condition (include none reinforcement, continual load of pre-split reinforcement, continual unload of pre-split reinforcement, intact reinforcement), then, gained the theoretical result.At the same time, based on the four condition of the finite element analysis,we produced four cored slab, experimentized CFS reinforcement tests, observed the whole damage process of the CFS reinforced cored slab, and analyzed force performance, then, do some research the carbon fiber reinforcement's influence on the resist monent's capability of cored slab under the four using condition. Through finite element analysis results ,we compared them to the test results to certificate finite element model's rationality. comparison include: cored slab load- deflection, the vertical steel bar and carbon fiber's deformation, limit load and failure features.Finally, we established CFS reinforced cored slab skew bridge's finite element analysis model based on the analysis of the theoretical and experimental results, calculated the ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge and analyzed the bearing capacity before and after reinforcement on the birdge.
