Reinforced Concrete Frame-shearwall structure is applied to hotels and common buildings of business buildings very broadly. The analysis and research on anti-seismic capability and its evaluation methods of Reinforced Concrete Frame-shearwall is quite important to its anti-seismic design, evaluation on anti–seismic capability and reinforcement steps when it doesn't accord with anti-seismic capability. This paper discusses control parameters and indicators of anti-seismic capability of Reinforced Concrete Frame-shearwall on the base of the pushover analysis.This paper appraises on the current seismic evaluation for engineering methods and refers to the present situation and advances, a new seismic evaluation for engineering method is brought up; The second chapter introduces present simplified model of shear-wall, brings up and validates equivalent frame model that fits to reinforced concrete frame-shear-wall structure'Push-over analysis; Author analyses the damage to the reinforced concrete frame-shear-wall; This paper analyses earthquake resistant behaviors of structure on the structural material, seismic properties of reinforced concrete structural members and the overall shape so that the seismic behavior of reinforced concrete frame-shear-wall structures for the evaluation indexes and standards.A new seismic evaluation on engineering is introduced, and brings up farther explicit evaluation indexes including rotation angle of each floor and plastic hinge deflection and allowable values of these indexes that can be applied to two stage evaluation on anti–seismic capability.Rotations angle of each floor are confirmed from pushover analysis at the first stage, so that structure seismic performance is evaluated at minor earthquake, moderate earthquake and major earthquake. Because Reinforced Concrete Frame -shearwall structure may be local failure as a result of the excessive plastic hinge corner at beam or column end, this new seismic evaluation for engineering method advises confining its deformation to defend this local failure at the second stage.Based on the veracity on a certain extent of the analysis of equivalent frame and explicit and simple indicators, the method of evaluation on anti-seismic capability of Reinforced Concrete Frame-shearwall is fit to existing and new-built buildings.
