Combined with Chinese academy of science Ningbo institution of material technology and engineering, this paper solves the problems of the impassable data in the test equipments and simple analytical function and so on. The test system on Solid Oxide Fuel Cell(SOFC) is researched with virtual instrument for the first time.Based on the explanation in the working principle, discreteness and structure of SOFC, this paper analyzes the characteristic of electrochemistry for the SOFC by MATLAB/Simulink model. It concludes that the influence to the cell capability caused by the working temperature, pressure, the content of the water vapour and electric current density is discussed, and the test variable in the test system is lodged. Based on the analysis on the content, method and test system structure for the capability test of the SOFC, the software of the test system is totally designed and demarcated by functions. Then the program in the test system from collecting data to analyzing and printing the result is completed around the graphics program environment in the virtual instrument software Labview. And the software on test system is explored with the virtual instrument, in which the User Interface is very friendly. So it establishes the foundation of the research on the SOFC by self exploration instead of import from foreigners.There is very strong expansibility and adaptability in this system software. It not only can be used to build up the experiment equipment, and also can be used to analyze and process the test data in the modern commercial test system. There is very perfect function in analyzing data source, which can finish the single data record reciting and complicate analysis. The graphics in the analytical result can be referred directly on choosing material in single cell and designing cell heap and the cell system. By debugged and primarily applied, this software can run fluently. The capability of the software was very stable, and it can satisfy the demand of the SOFC test very well.
