The characteristics of original hydraulic test systems are greater intensity of workers' operating; lower test efficiency and precision, etc. To resolve these disadvantages, a hydraulic tester computer aided test (CAT) system based on virtual instruments technique is developed in this thesis. Furthermore, an energy-saving electro-hydraulic variable speed control system is discussed in this thesis, it will improve the dynamic frequency, control precision and energy loss characteristics of the electro-hydraulic system. The thesis consists of seven chapters.Chapter 1, the current status of industrial automation in China is introduced, and the phylogeny of hydraulic test system is given. The purpose, significance and contents of this thesis are presented.Chapter 2, the principle of the hydraulic function modules is detailedly discussed. And the various parameters of the test system are concluded and discussed.Chapter 3, the hardware's realization of system is described, including the selection of various electric elements, controller, PC-LabCards; collocating of the channels between signals and PC-LabCards. Furthermore, anti-interference application of electrical system and the project of system power supply are discussed.Chapter 4, the selection of the programming language is discussed. Furthermore, the software's realization of various function modules and the programs are discussed.Chapter 5, the pump and motor test rig is debugged and tested. A serial of experiments of fixed displacement pump are schemed out, and the experiment results are analyzed.Chapter 6, the principle and control strategy of the energy-saving electro-hydraulic variable speed control system are discussed. And the digital simulation is done.Chapter 7, the conclusion of this thesis is summarized, and the research method of future work is schemed out.
