The study on HuangTian ancient village in WanNan District on the historical material and local research,investigates actuality space form of HuangTian ancient village,which include the construction space,the street and alley space and the whole space.Basing on the study above,this paper analyses the space form of HuangTian ancient village from the view of self-organization process from bottom to top.The reason is, the formation of the hamlet is a kind of social architecture behavior.The study on the combination adheres to the direction of "from bottom to top" and is close to real situation in the development of hamlet.First of all,it analyzed the essential factors to form the villages—several architecture modes to construct Chinese courtyard house. Secondly, the author did some research on the constructive modes from four aspects: 1) from architecture unit to the house monomer 2) from architecture unit to team neighborhood 3) from architecture unit to the inner space of the hamlet 4) from architecture unit to the space of the hamlet as a whole.On the other hand,the author chose several characteristic buildings to expose and analyze the composing and space features of their architecture unit .It concludes the leading factors of the hamlet space shapes in different aspects and summarizes how these individual building joggled and extended to a whole.Besides,it discussed the relationship between the law in the microcosmic architecture organization and macroscopic hamlet network shapes.The paper is analysing based on monomer and groups which belong to the external space of the traditional villages.Because the external space is not only a single element,but the organic components of the external space.
