Steel through truss bridge has some excellence, such as low girder, light deadweight, high carrying capacity, comfortable travelling crane, short construct periods. Especially low highness of girder ,when we adopt steel through truss bridge in campagna bridge construct because of low cost. Steel through truss bridge is widely applied in railroading, certainly technology is maturely,but there are some difficulty in hight road,such as long transverse span, sphalt concrete surfacing of orthotropic steel deck plates. Sphalt concrete pave on orthotropic steel deck plates,the mechanics characteristic is different from normal road surfacing.The sphalt concrete surfacing is very important in construct steel bridge,we can find the theoretics and design criterion of bridge surfacing by studying the work state and stress of the surface.This paper analyse a steel through truss bridge by the bridge structure analysis software MIDAS/Civil 2006. Analyse the characteristic of the statics,stability and sphalt concrete surfacing of orthotropic steel deck plates.The stability and sphalt concrete surfacing of orthotropic steel deck plates is a very important technology in steel bridge construct. Adopt a quarter of model,analyse the parameter of steel through truss bridge, gained some conclusions.
