The dissertation researches the AP&T LPS-4000 hydraulic double-action tryout presses. Using of Hydraulic system developed by a Swedish company AP&T. The dissertation analyses the hydraulic system work principle and the hydraulic system parameters such as flux, velocity, etc, and research the accommodate characteristic of the hydraulic system. In order to update and improve the performance of original controller, this paper studied hydraulic double-action tryout presses, thanks to advantage of computer control and the development of modem control theory. According to characters of tryout presses, Computer control algorithm is presented and implemented in an example testing machine. Due to requirements of user, computer controller has accomplished press process according to the procedures predetermined. In the mean time, the real-time changes of stress and strain are also recorded by computer, which makes contributions to subsequent analysis and research of material performance.The factors that effect performance of hydraulic try-out are investigated, after analyzing work process of the AP&T LPS-4000 hydraulic press. The architecture, hardware and software of hydraulic tryout presses control system are investigated in this dissertation. S7 serial PLC and SIMATIC Windows Control Center (WinCC), which occur in recent years, are also discussed. The hardware and software structures are designed and the real-time control software is developed. Now the system is successfully used in actual product.Because the hydraulic press has characteristics of nonlinear ,time variety and parameters change and load disturb, control strategies are more complex and difficult to establish exact mathematics model ,predict fuzzy control technology is adopted and the strategies are studied in detail.author implemented the control algorithm in a digital controller for LPS-4000 hydraulic double-action tryout presses system. Control algorithms and digital controller are proven available and realizable. The choices of hardware and design of software are also proven validity. The controller achieve all expect results.
