Measurement System Based On LabVIEW Of Torque & Speed Of Induction Motor

The measurement of starting characteristics for induction motor is a basic question for discussion. To design and control the motor better, plenty of people try to know more about the character of motor. There are many products of these measuring systems in the factory and institutes. But these products are faced to the specified circumstance. Some of these are correspond to the market, make MCU as core, including the functions of interface and output display. The hardware is the basic component of these measuring system, and it is not convenient to communicate with the user.In eighties of 20 century the NI corporation put forward the concept of virtual instrument. They give the slogan"The software is the instrument". With the development of this, NI give the LabVIEW (Laboratory virtual instrument engineering workbench) and HP produce the HPVEE. These make it possible to build the virtual instrument by the means of some basic architecture.After deep comprehend and analysis of basic principle and algorithm of some measuring instrument, this paper build a measuring system based on the LabVIEW. This system include the data acquisition module and the operation interface. The MCU of data acquisition module is MC68HC908MR32, performing functions of data acquisition,communicate with PC and status display.In the operating interface of PC, there are some curve fitting of the measured data. It is intuitionistic .This paper have some help of the development of virtual instrument.
