Research On Urban Villages Close To Colleges In Wuhan

Urban village is a special phenomenon in the process of urbanization in China,it is one kind of community that its administration system,inhabitants'feature, land tenure and traditional culture are kept as before while it has been surrounded by urban territory during the process of urbanization.The formation of urban village is a special phenomenon caused by the situation of china.it reflects the shift of villages'regime in China.Wuhan is a metropolis with many colleges of which urban villages border on the campus.With the rapid development of higher education and the magnification of colleges'construction, those urban villages beget a escpecial way of their survival and evolution.Colleges'development animates the villages to be a place for college students together and to live in.The life in the urban villages close to college can make a great influence to the students.The object of this research is comprehend the interaction between the daily lives of the students living in villages and the villages'environment, and seek the environmental arrangements , finally to bring forward corresponding suggestions rationally and effectively to those villages'construction and development.The object of this research is the interaction between the daily of students lessee in villages and the community environment,choosing Pengwang village and Tuku village as typical cases, employing structured field observation and in-depth interviews of the students lessee to know the environment of these two villages, the interaction between their daily life, intercourse and environment, After some discussion on the findings, a few suggestions are made both on the material and the social side of villages'development in the end of the research paper.
