Research Of Switched Reluctance Generator Used In Wind Generation

As the energy sources consume increasing daily, wind power is paid great attention by more and more countries. And the technologies interests specialists and scholars in many countries.This paper gave the research and experiment on theories, which focuses on the application of switched reluctance generator in wind generation. Firstly, this paper summarized the actuality and the foreground of the technologies of wind generation. Presented several advantages of switched reluctance generator used in wind generation, and the significance of developing this system.Secondly paper introduced the operation principle of switched reluctance generator and the structure of its circuit.Then analyses the relation between inductance and angle position, energy conversion in switched reluctance generator and the phase current .On the base of these analyse, paper introduced three control methods: The angle position control, the current chopping control and the PWM control.Then paper introduced a mathematic model of switched reluctance motor based on structural parameter. Using this theory, paper established simulation models in MATLAB/SIMULATION and got some useful conclusions from it.Next, paper introduced the hardwares and softwares of the controllers of switched reluctance motor and direct current motor in this system.Finally, experiment had been done on the practical system. The experimental results validated the conclusions drawn from theoretical research above.
