Degree of automobile electron being higher came along with electronic technology, when it develops quickly and applys widely, expressly, electronic technology brings the epoch-making change, while micro-control unit enters into automobile field. It is advance for the vehicle drive, manipulative stability, security, fuel economize, protect environment. There are still many problems, probability of trouble being high, and trouble diagnostic of checking equipment being specialization, trouble diagnostic personnel being professional, so it is necessary to display the concrete content of OBD code. With that, for the appearing about entironment, it is stricter for vehicle emission control regulations; the development of vehicle electronic control will be quicker. Driver will get cue about vehicle trouble, when the question occur in vehicle emission control trouble. Therefore, it will be wide growing space for OBDII real-time display of simulation.Except fuel eject and ignition function, there is OBD function when electronic technology apply engine manage system. On-Board Diagnostics is abbreviated OBD.CAN-BUS emerges as the times require, for predigested line, improving rate of communications of each computer and reducing frequency of troubles. CAN-BUS is one of the extensive bus in the international. It is a communication protocol that Bosch company employed about resolving model vehicle data exchange between lots of micro-control units and testing apparatuses.Aim as international prescript and applying status of OBDII, The author mainly concerns on the research of display system of OBDII that based ATmegal28L single chip and CAN-BUS. The module of display system involves micro-control units, Liquid Crystal Display, CAN-BUS communication module, key-press control module, and clock and PC communication module. It makes the best of characteristic of AVR single chip and CAN-BUS communication in the design. Because it adopts CAN-BUS port of parts of an apparatus and technology of simulation of serial communication, that predigests the design and reduce cost. By communication experiment between circuit boards, it stands to international standard communication; it can realize communicating and displaying in code of OBDII trouble diagnostic.
