The modeling and simulation of the marine main combined diesel or gas turbine power propulsion plant and its control system are systemically studied in this thesis.The marine main combined diesel or gas turbine power propulsion plant system can obviously increase the marine propulsion's efficiency, improve the flexibility of the marine sailing and augment the range of power, it is widely used practically because it descends the oil consumption and it is economical.Firstly, the analysis method of modularization is used to modeled the sub module of the combined diesel or gas turbine power propulsion plant system in this paper. Thereinto, some synthesis modeled methods are adopted to establish the diesel's mathematical module, such as analysis equation method, quasi steady state method, experiment data modify method. As for gas turbine, because of its components' complexity, components' characteristic is genetically presented as characteristic chart. So the components' characteristic curves of gas turbine were fitted in this paper with coefficient fitting method. It has reached the satisfactory fitting precision.Secondly, the character and request of combined diesel or gas turbine power propulsion plant control system is analysed, including the subsystem of diesel, gas turbine and driving device, which provide object analog for power plant experiment.Finally, the simulation of combined diesel or gas turbine power propulsion plant control system is actualized based on LM2500 diesel and 20V1163TB83 gas turbine. And simulation curve of the process of switching between diesel and gas turbine is presented. It is suggested that the simulation error is no more than 5% by comparing simulation results with measured data and sea trail data. Therefore, it is proved that the modeling method and the model proposed in the thesis are accurate and effective. The marine main combined gas turbine and diesel engine power propulsion plant and its control system derived by this thesis can be applied to analyze and predict as well as research of the characteristics of marine main combined power propulsion plant and its control system when operating in various situation, provide simulation research platform for the design of this kind of power plants and control system, and for the research of staff training system.
