For the fewer and fewer oil resources,Electric Vehicles(EV) are being studied more and more and it will be a hotspot of automobile industrial research works in every country. As the research goes deeper in the technology field of Electric Vehicle,the requirements for the motor drive system performance are more and more higher. With the production of the drive system of a HEV, this paper aims at designing and implementing the hardware of a HEV, motor control strategy and cooperation of every unit of the HEV.This paper firstly investigates the basic topology structure, after that, this paper makes an detailed explanation about the hardware design, this section contains the main circuit, the motor electric control unit based on TMS320LF2407A and the IGBT grid drive circuit based on 2SD106AI-17.The anti-interference issues of the hardware circuit in the actual working condition are considered and the effective resolving measurements are presented.The fundamental principle of motor vector control strategy and SVPWM algorithm are studied.Three motors can run at low speed and high speed steadily at the same time, also they can switch from low speed to high speed smoothly.Their static performances and dynamic performances can meet the requestion of the HEV.The next, this paper designed a communication module which can communicate with the CANbus controller accurately and quickly.Finally, the reliability of the motor drive system was tested. Also, the whole car performance test results indicate that this motor drive system has good static performance and dynamic performance.
