The Backstop is a safety device used to prevent the transporting equipments from reversing or keeping supporting to the equipment, it is mainly installed in the high-speed reducer shaft or intermediate shaft. The development of NF100 non-contact backstop in this subject is a wedge-type backstop, the character of the NF100 backstop is small size, light weight, flexible and reliable. It has the relatively perfect performance when working in the state of non-contact free rotation or in the reversing wedge tight backstop state. It has much worthwhile characteristics to carry on the research and the analysis.In order to study the performance of NF100 non-contact backstop in detail, it based on the basic theory of manifestation dynamics elasticity plasticity, the software of ANSYS/LS-DYNA is used to carry out simulation analysis of this function. When positive rotation, the shaped block don't contact from the inner ring and outer ring of NF100 backstop, effectivly really the state of non-contact free rotation. When reverse rotation, the shaped block, inner ring and outer ring wedge tight, effectivly meet the request of backstop. At the same time, the shaped block force is uniform, the vibration of the device is small, the working performance is excellent.Finally, the physical equipment is tested by the self-designed Backstop performance test-bed, the conclusions consistent with the conclusions of performance of virtual prototyping analysis, the analysis is proved to be correct. The research method to the design and the working proess of NF100 non-contact backstop has important reference value.
