The Study Of CBD Urban Design Practice

From on 1980s, urban design theory was introduced into China from west countries, and 1990s urban design practice was developed, to 21st century, both theory and practice are popular, urban construction and planning manage practice are in face of many problems because of social reform. Under this background, the research subject of this paper is "urban design practice of CBD area" .According to this research subject, first, this paper explains the meaning of urbandesign——urban design is targeted on promoting public field, and a social practiceprocess of harmonize government behavior, urban design and development behavior by design city 3D environment shape.Secondly, this paper studies Lu Jia Zui CBD area urban design practice deeply according to some judgment standards, and judges what substantial effect dose the urban design have in the process of promoting environment form and public field, and how dose the urban design practice effect come out with some other factors which have great influence on it. This paper explains the original mechanism how the urban design effect produced from the two aspects, which are the constitutive factors of social system and the factor of actors in the process of developing. The constitutive factors of social system decide the main goals of urban design practice. And the actors in the process of developing——government and developers effect urban construction the most, and restrict urban design as well. Therefore, these factors result in disparity between "actual" urban design and "ideal" urban design.Lastly, the paper concludes the actual effect of urban design is the social practice behavior of forming urban environment by ruling benefit groups—government and companies. Urban design is the technique way to realize their intentions. So, intensifying urban planning management can not be realized without social system.
