The Global Positioning System(GPS)has become the key to precise command and control,precise strike,and force delivery,and affects the way and effectiveness of war at all stages of the war.An effective and accurate evaluation of the GPS interference process is beneficial to improve the interference technology and the the Anti-interference technology of the receiver.Therefore,the research on the evaluation of GPS interference effectiveness has very important military significance and broad application prospects.Aiming at the signal composition and working characteristics of global satellite positioning system,this paper proposes an evaluation index of interference effectiveness in three aspects of signal acquisition,tracking and demodulation based on signal processing and establishes an interference evaluation index based on monitoring station data in combination with actual combat cases.And theoretical and simulation analysis were done separately to verify the validity of the above indicators.The following is the important points of the article summed up:1.The theoretical derivation and simulation analysis of the receiver interference tolerance and interference distance are carried out under the condition of suppressing interference.The anti-interference performance of different pseudo-code modulated signals such as the C/A code,P code,L5 code,L2 C code,M code and region enhanced M codes and the interference performance of different interference signals such as band-limited white noise,matched spectrum interference,and narrow band are demonstrated.2.According to the signal processing flow of GPS receiver,the interference effectiveness evaluation is divided into three levels: signal acquisition,tracking and demodulation.The interference evaluation index based on signal processing is established.The acquisition performance of the signal is evaluated by the average acquisition time and the acquisition time variance.The tracking performance of the signal is evaluated by carrier tracking error and code tracking error,and the demodulation performance of the signal is evaluated by pseudorange measurement error and bit error rate.3.The theoretical and simulation analysis of the interference effectiveness evaluation index based on the the signal processing is carried out by designing different interference scenarios,and the anti-interference ability of the global satellite positioning system itself and the degradation of the signal processing performance under the disturbance condition are quantitatively evaluated.This verifies the validity of the above evaluation indicators.4.In view of the large number of civilian/military GPS ground tracking stations deployed in the world,this paper combines the latest GPS interference examples to establish the interference evaluation index based on monitoring data of the Combat area monitoring stations represented by signal-to-noise ratio,satellite visibility,GDOP and positioning error,and uses the IGS data of the ground tracking station to analyze the GPS performance and the change of the above evaluation index under the disturbance condition,and verifies the effectiveness of the above-mentioned evaluation index based on monitoring data of the monitoring stations.
