Energy resource is the important material element of the national economy development. All the countries in the world regard the building of a reliable, secure and stable energy providing system as one of the strategic problems in national economy development. Nowadays the shortage in energy resource results in high priority in rational use in energy resource and improvement in its efficiency. Combined cold, heat and power (CCHP) system is developing on the basis of combined heat and power system, which makes the heat energy generate power through steamer or gas turbine. At the same time, CCHP system uses the used heat energy to provide heat in winter and the used refrigeration equipment to provide cold in summer. This paper starts from the distributed power system in advanced training center in China Power Investment Corporation. This system is a CCHP system using natural gas as its fuel. The rundle using of natural gas can surely improve the use efficiency of the energy resource.In the paper, it firstly introduces the definition, application and characteristic of the distributed power system. Also the development situations at home and abroad are shown in the passage. Then a brief introduction of the distributed power system in advancing training center of China Power Investment Corporation is stated on several aspects such as the necessity of building the distributed system and its design principle. The analysis on the power system status quo is calculated from the connecting system method and relay protection. From the analysis on the heat status quo, we do the heat prediction and design. Secondly, for one of the important components in the distributed power system- the gas turbine, the paper does a detailed research on its choosing principle, models definition and heat operating method. Except that, the plane collocation, choice of the system site, fuel system, heat system, the control on heat engine, the regulation of the conditioner and the environmental effect are shown in the paper to do a research and analyses on the project design. At last, the economic analysis of this distributed power system is stated. From the estimated calculation of the investment, the basic finance guideline, sensibility analyses and heat power ratio analyses are provided to prove the feasibility and benefits of the system.Owing to the its energy-saving and clean energy resource, CCHP system is attached more and more importance. The generalized application of CCHP is urgent. The research results of the distributed power system in advanced training center of China Power Investment Corporation speed the process of generalization in the distributed power system using natural gas as the fuel.
