Design And Realization Of The Station Calling System For Intelligent Transportation System

Station calling system is a key part of intelligent transportation system, which aims to provide a convenient human machine interface for passengers to call vehicles in settled stations. This system could be divided into two parts, viz. the station human machine interface terminal and the information administration platform in the host computer of central control room.The station human machine interface, whose hardware and software platforms are made up of S3C44B0X processor andμC/OS-II embedded operating system, is designed firstly. Using infrastructure mode LAN whose core is the host computer of the central control room, the communication system for intelligent transportation system is developed. Based on replanting the embedded operating system successfully, three functions station human machine interface terminal needed are developed and realized: key-press information identification is realized by the matrix keyboard round-scanning method; display of the correlative information is realized by utilizing gray scale LCD; information transfer between the station human machine interface terminal and the computer of central control room is realized by using UDP protocol.In the aspect of the host computer of central control room, the calling information administration software is developed by using Visual C# platform, and MySQL is chosen to be the database platform for calling information administration. The functions of listening real-time station calling information, operating database system, refreshing and showing instant calling information are realized by the calling information administration software, and the function of adding manual calling information is also provided by it. The function of SMS calling information administration is integrated into the calling information administration software, too.
