In this thesis,the techniques of Computer Graphics,CAD,development based on UG, Object-orientation, database are introduced into the development of human-machine interface virtual design system. The function of the the virtual design of human-machine interface in mechanical system is improved a lot.First,the thoughtway of developing the software of the human-machine interface in mechanical system is presented.Then.some essential techniques,including data module.controlling module, Coordinating system,and so on,are discussed.Using the object-orientation, the classification of the Human-Machine interface component in mechanical system was constructed ,the techniques of interface component design and a new methord of addinig,deleting and editing a interface componets is introduced. It unifies the operation and existing mode of the interface component and makes it possible to constructed a more complex human-machine interface.In the end,a method ,based on UG models and UG\OPEN C development, of designing of standard modules and complex human-machine interface component of mechanical system is introduced. The method can do quickly, simply and conveniently. When the components are used in an Evaluation system of human-machine interface, it gets a good performance.
