Hybrid Electrical Vehicle (HEV) multi-energy management control system need be able to coordinate the Electrical Control Unit (ECU) of drive motor, engine, power battery and other components to work together to achieve the whole vehicle energy management and distribution. High efficient and optimized system control logics will provide a better HEV performance. Therefore, a test platform is required to check and optimize the multi-energy management control system control logics. This article introduce a test method based on the CAN BUS, a test platform is designed for the multi-energy management controller. This test platform set up the models by using CANoe language for vehicle dynamic and powertrain subsystems based on the SWB6116 HEV. The multi-energy management controller hardware in loop test platform based on CAN BUS can implement the test function and monitor the whole test process, which will help to the optimization for the system control logics. The test results of SWB6116 HEV multi-energy management control system control logics show that the developed test platform can meet the system real time requirement and the model precise can meet test requirement. The test results also show that the programmed test platform is applicable to test the multi-energy management control system control logics.
