Since twenty-first Century,the energy crisis and the deterioration of air quality have been perplexing the human,and the energy saving and emission reduction are considered to be an effective solution to the problem.Many local governments in China have launched vehicle purchase limit policies and traffic restriction policies.In addition,local and central governments jointly have launched a variety of promotion policies about new energy vehicles.And the government also strongly supports research and development of key technologies and industrialization of new energy vehicle.Based on National Natural Science Foundation,a real-time control strategy of vehicle controller for real vehicle is designed,in order to obtain a strategy comprehensively considering both fuel economy and vehicle drivability.Firstly,the vehicle model is built under the backward simulation environment,and the analytical expressions of the equivalent fuel consumption are built.Then,the Pontryagin's minimum principle(PMP)is used to analyze the necessary conditions of optimization of energy management control,and ditional equivalent consumption minimization strategy(ECMS)is used to obtain the conditions of optimal control).Although the traditional ECMS can achieve the near optimal fuel economy,yet the drivability is bad,and the required computation is very complicate,which is not fit for real time control.Therefore,the Willans Line-ECMS control strategy is designed based on the Willans line models of the gasoline engine and electric motor.The gear calculation and torque distribution algorithm can be simplified as simple table lookup calculation.Then the Willans Line-ECMS algorithm is verified by offline simulation method,which can obtain a good fuel economy as the traditional ECMS and improve the drivability and real-time performance.In this paper,the vehicle controller hardware circuit is designed based on the MPC5634 M semiconductor of the Freescale company.The forward real-time simulation model is built by using the automatic code generation technology and CCP calibration protocol.Then the Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulation experiment system is established to verify the performance of the vehicle controller hardware and software.The HILS test results show that the vehicle controller hardware circuits can work safely and reliably,and no fault happens during the test;torque distribution curves calculated by vehicle controller almost overlap the torque demand curves,and the computing time of control strategy is very short.For the fuel consumption,the control effect obtained by the HILS test is in accordance with the effect obtained by offline simulation,which can explain that the proposed control strategy has better real-time performance.The Willans Line-ECMS control strategy is good for realizing the using of the optimization energy management strategy on the real vehicle.And,The Willans line ECMS has a certain propulsion effect to achieving the energy saving and emission reduction for hybrid electric vehicle.In addition,it has theoretical significance and practical application value for development of new high-efficient energy-saving,environment-friendly hybrid electric vehicle and optimization of hybrid electric vehicle energy management control strategy.
