| The industry of solar energy has been developing rapidly in recent years, In China, the PV companies have achieved great progress both in quantity and in quality. A lot of PV modules have been developed every year, which makes the testing of the PV Array being more and more important.In this paper, the R&D of a portable PV tester was given. It starts with an analysis of the market of the PV tester, followed by the principles of PV testing, then the details about the hardware and software of the tester was given. The hardware is consisted of CPU board, environment parameters board, LCD&4X4 keyboard board; the software includes operation system, file system, USB program, and user interface. Then, this device is evaluated by the data collected in field. In the end, the paper introduces a research about the mismatch of pv module with assistant of this pv tester. |
