Container shipping has become the best means of transportation in the international economy and trade. As a key step in the container transportation, the container loading problem (CLP) can be formulated as follows: Given a set of boxes and a container, finding the subset of the boxes with maximum total volume, which can be placed in the container with some constrains. The CLP is a NP-Complete problem, which can not give an optimal solution within a reasonable time limit.Container iron shelf loading (CISL) is a special case in container loading, which aims not only to set goods in the iron shelf with some constrains, but also to make the loading with great capability. But low efficiency commonly exists commonly in this area.In this thesis, research focus on the two mentioned above, and the optimal model and solving algorithm are created.1) Through researching other relative model, a new optimal model is developed.2) As to the new optimal model, Heuristic& self-adapted algorithm is proposed.3) Through the data simulated, it can state that the new method is available and effective.4) With the combination of scientific and relative researching, software named"King of Loading version of Icon Shelf"is developed. With help of this software, client can get the exact amount of containers need to book. Further, the 3D Graphic show can help loader to locate the exact place. All of above can raise the return and efficiency in the enterprises.
