A Research On Combination Of Integration Innovation With Industry Design And A New Product Development Case

Innovation is a topic which has been discussed for a long time. It is no longer a question whether we need innovation or not. The new question is "how to do". Nowadays, both companies and researchers are busy on finding proper methods to innovate, and we are sure that there should be a way suit for our local industries. According to previous research, there are three different methods to innovate: original innovation, imitate innovation and integration innovation. As a recently populated method, integration innovation is widely discussed and applied in product design processions, which brought great business successes, such as the new Boeing 787 plane and iPhone.By the mean time, industry design, as a well development industry, come to a embarrass situation. Most industry designers play minor roles in the whole development procedure. What they need to do limited in sketching, computer modeling and shaping. Such an limitation overlooked a potential innovate power and killed wonderful ideas from those designers.In this paper, we promote a new innovation method combined industry design with embedded technology following the view of integration innovation. That may help to upgrade the traditional industries. We believe that:1. Integration innovation is a proper method suit for local industries.2.
