| Due to the quickly increased traffic and the various natural environment, such as rain and snow etc, the high-grade highways built in the early 1980s and 1990s have got into the extent of the intermediate or major repair, furthermore, it is necessary to maintain the high-grade highways daily. In constructing environmental protection and conservation types of roads, the hot recycling technology has already presented its advantage gradually. It has already been proofed by practices that in recycling asphalt mixture, it is critical to make the aging asphalt be recycled effectively. Compared with technical applications and researches of the hot recycling technology abroad, the applications in our country our country has certain advantage apart from the system info, design info and practice info. Therefore, we have to speed to research the hot recycling technology in order to set a suit of concrete technical criteria in recycling asphalt for ourselves. The main purpose of this dissertation is to study the binder of the recycled mixture. It includes the following parts:1) Based on the analysis for the aging rules and the recycling mechanism of the asphalt and according to the component adjusting theory, making use of three points, that are the penetration of the aging asphalt, higher and lower than that of the target asphalt, we determine the proportion of the recycling agent and verifies the feasibility of the method.2) Make use of traditional asphalt cement testing methods to evaluate three kinds of blended binders.3) To evaluate the recycle asphalt, there is another evaluating standard apart from the traditional one which is usually applied at home, that is the SHRP Performance Graded (PG) binder system. According to the system, the dissertation evaluates the performance of three kinds of blended binders at high temperature, middle temperature and low temperature respectively and finally has them PG classified in accordance with the results measured by the corresponding evaluative indexes.4) According to the test results, the dissertation compares two kinds of evaluating system and supplies the materials to the research of the hot recycling technology for future. At present, there is no uniform standard for evaluating the performance of the recycle asphalt domestically and traditional testing methods such as penetration, softening point and so on are mostly used. It needs a lot of research to utilize SHRP indexes to test the recycling effects, but in fact we have done a lot about recycling asphalt. |
