Study On The Mode Of Built Environment Post-occupancy Evaluation Based On Environmental Psychology

Large-scale construction consequentially leads to hasty building process. People need to review whether built environment satisfied requirements of occupant's psychology and behavior. Therefore, this thesis gropes for a set of Post-occupancy Evaluation mode, including establishment of "Built Environment - Occupancy Behavior" evaluation model, classification of POE methods and selection of POE techniques as well as exploration of evaluation feedback idea in the form of POE Repository. Furthermore, this mode is aptly applied in teaching areas of campus, which is exemplified by case study of the one in Zhejiang University Zijingang campus. Finally, based on theoretical and practical researches mentioned above, the thesis makes overall review and discussion on this research mode, concerning broad application of BE-OB model, selection principle of POE methods and techniques, establishment of POER feedback mechanism. This research can be used for theoretical and practical instruction in POE development as well as its feedback on architectural design.
