At present, the primary methods which are widely used to reinforce stone arch bridge are"enlarging section"and"sticking steel plate". The two methods both improve behavior of structures and bearing capacity of the original bridge by the function of external causes, but internal causes are the foundation of destroying structures. Therefore, it is how to change applied force system of structure, redistribute internal force of structure, improve bearing capacity by estimating evolution of bridge from the angle of internal cause that should be seriously studied.So called"the method of released energy"is a kind of new method, new technique and new craftwork to quickly improve carring capacity of bridge. The method changes applied force system of main arch by processing arch springing with special technique, release internal force of main arch springing of original bridge, redistribute internal force of main arch ,improve behavior of original bridge, explore potential of main arch oneself.In the research of the key content about the item, based on the theory of structural mechanics and contrast analysis of unique feature and stress about the non-hinged arch bridge and the two-hinged arch bridge, the bearing capacity mechanism of the ER arch bridge is summarized. And the calculation model of the ER arch bridge is established on its bearing capacity mechanism. Depend on the bearing capacity calculation method of the non-hinged arch bridge in existence and the calculation model of the ER arch bridge, the bearing capacity calculation AIM is proposed and its calculation course is demonstrated at length.The author calculates the internal force of two typical stone arch bridge which is reinforced recently and compared the internal force of the ER arch bridge with the internal force of the non-hinged arch bridge before reinforced.And,the author introduced the tow detectings which are made before and after the reinforcement had done, also analyzed and compared the result of the tow detecting Through comparison and analysis of the engineering example and the load experiment, the method of the ER was used to reinforce stone arch bridge are proved practical and feasible...
