| Fossil fired power units go forward to high parameters and large capacity gradually, the analysis on operation characteristics of the combustion system of the coal-fired boiler changing to different coal sorts is an importan subject for research. The combustion system of 600MW coal-fired boiler is taken as the research object of this thesis,based on the available boiler combustion technology basic knowledge and heat transfer theory, analyze in details the influence law of coal quality upon operation characteristics of the combustion system . Models of analysis and calculation and models of combustion adjustment have been builted.From the perspective coal quality changing at time in power plants,operation adjustment methods of the 600MW coal-fired boiler's combustion system and the changing correlations bettwen the unit loads and the main operation parameters are pointed out ,by means of the actual operation datas and the cold experiment results. Results of application show that it has a good effect and it can provide the technology support for the security and economical operation for 600MW coal-fired boiler changing to different coal sorts.
