With the rapid development of national economy, there are more and more industrial devices being used in industry, such as ac arc furnaces.These loads, which have the electric characteristics of asymmetry or impact, bring so much power quality problems as low power factor, three Phase voltage and current unbalanced, and etc.Static Var Compensator(SVC)can solve these problems synthetically well.So it has important meanings to design the SVC of rapid response and good stability.According to unbalanced load,the paper offer a optimized design method for the major circuit parameter of Static Var Compensator, On basis of theory analysis,make a psim-based SVC system emulation model,emulate to it. To present universal harmonic wave pollution problem in electric network,on basis of wave filtering and static var compensation technique,put forward the combination form of active power filter and passive power filter,solve the harmonic wave and static var compensation problem well. According to the instantaneous reactive power theory,the paper offer a algorithm.to detect the reactive signal fast.
