Outdoor Environment Planning For Old People

China has entered an ageing society. Many factors including the first at the end of the rich old, large older population base and the structural changes in family size make the pension issues into hot spots of the entire community. This paper descrips and analysis on Chinese aging characteristics, the developed countries pension model, the mode of living and the development trends of Chinese old-age patterns; Against the way for old-age and the outdoor environment for elderly, combined domestic and foreign research results and the already theoretical results, by analysising Patterns of conduct of the olderly, starting from Physiological needs and Psychological needs of the olderly, Summarize the problem existing in the outdoor environment. Respectively expend the regional where the olderly always aggregate in : the public green space and the settlements.The aim of this paper is to pay attention to the endowment living and life of the olderly through the settlement planning and environment designing, realy achieve a sense of security. Through analysising the character of the ageing ,the character of the olderly and the development trending of the pension model, useing the basic environment designing theory and the actual reseach, do some basic research for the endowment living model and the outdoor environment of the elements.The innovation of this paper is putting forward how to planning and constructing the outdoor environment design which fitting for the olderly through analysising the related features of the olderly, field surveying and observing.
