The subject originates from the project: two-level high-power development of Vector Control frequency converter, which entrusted by enterprise. The subject armies to the product development of frequency converter driver system, has done the studies and tests on identification methods and new controller for AC induction motor. Beside participated in the designed and manufacture of the system, the author also completed the parameter off-line identification impendence. A practical method for off-line Identification method has been introduced in the paper. The hardware and software of the digital control system based on the digital signal processor were designed and debugged. The objective were realized and laid the foundation for the further study.In the chapter 1, the vector control and coordinate transformation were introduced. According to the coordinate transformation, the effect of parameter variations on the performance of vector controlled induction motor drive can be determined. Matalb based simulations is carried out to confirm the results of analytical function.In the chapter 2 the method of off-line identification was introduced. At first, the chapter introduces the motor model for the identification at standstill. In order get the motor parameters at standstill; the method applies DC (Direct Current) and single-phase AC (Alternating Current) as excitations to identify the parameters. The paper proposes a novel iterative algorithm to solve the nonlinear equations. At least, the paper introduced a new scheme to calculate the power factor, which base on the instantaneous value of current and voltage.In the chapter 3, several kinds of advanced control strategy were introduced, such as Adaptive strategy, Active disturbance rejection controller, ect. Finally the vector control system which base on PI speed controller was introduced and the result of simulation were presented.The inductor motor driver system base on DSP TMS320F2812 were introduced in chapter 4. The control board, power board, main board were designed and used in experiment. The primary experiments are developed for the vector control system control of the induction motor drive system, and the experiment results are shown in chapter 6. The program flow chart system is also explained.
