In logistics activities, as the important equipment of the realization of cargo unit loaded transport, pallets is being recognized and accepted by all walks of life, and used more and more widely. With the intensifition of global economic competition, the potential profits in logistics field is more and more attented by people, and logistics strategy has become an integral part in enterprises overall strategies. Since the beginning of the 21st century, China's logistics industry has developed rapidly, but is still in its infancy stage, the low operation efficiency, high logistics cost has become an urgent problem needs to be solved, and as one of the basis tools in supply chain integration, pallet plays an important role in the modern logistics activities, and achieving the rationalization of pallets is one of the key links to solve these problems.This paper analysis China's pallet status, resources, developing direction in logistics industry and favourable conditions of China railway's developing pallets transport for detail, begin with three main aspects as the formulation of pallet standards, management style and organizational structure, learn from advanced international system standards and mature operating management models, and carried out in-depth study on China's railway pallet transport market positioning and mode of development, research on the internal reasons that pallets joint venture to pallets transport , and summarized the transport network construction that should be conducted and the policies and measures in need of support at initial trial, put the future development road of railway pallet transport, and hope to be lessons and reference of the developing direction of China's railway pallets transport in logistics industry, focus on the implementation and system planning.
