There are various types, complex alignments and bad universality of the track girder in Chongqing.According to different alignments and radiuses,a related paper applies statistical principle and figures that the Emergency Track Girder can do predetermined function of PC track girder by assembling several precast segment with connecting plates.Rest on domestic and foreign related standards, a simple track girder of 22 meters span and 100 meters radius is analyzed as the subject of research. Massive work has been done on its research and design: based on the safety, economy and convenience, contrast analysis of several certain schemes is made and the inverted variable T-type cross-section girder is determined as the final scheme of the Emergency Track Girder. To simplify the analysis model, sevral hypotheses are proposed.Then theoretical analysis is made on each item of mechanical parameters by applying classical thin waled-box beam theory.The results indicate that each mechanical parameter of the Emergency Track Girder can well meet those related standards. To confirm the theoretical analysis results, finite element models have been established by using element Shell63 and Beam 189 separately on the ANSYS platform.The results vertify that the theoretical analysis has high precision. Morover, buckling stability and harmonic response of the Emergency Track Girder have also been investigated with finite elment method.At last, based on the consideration of security and particularity of the Emergency Track Girder, this paper makes contrast research on the seismic behavior of the Emergency Track Girder without interaction with bridge pier with the help of spectrum analysis and time history response analysis.The results indicate that the Emergency Track Girder could withstand no more than 7 degree design intensity seismic action at III site soil.
