The project " Electric Machinery Dynamometer Test Bed " is supported by 211 plan of our university, which is applied to both motor and generator modes on either 100kW or 400kW power grade, and on which various experiments can be done: idling, loading, stalling, temperature rising, constant torque, power of variable-frequency motor, and speed response when abrupt change of load and speed given. As an important part of the project, bed-building, debugging and testing of the switched reluctance motor which is used in the energy-saving of pumping transformation, and the superiority of the SRM is verified.This thesis is mainly about two parts of the testing system: control system of load adjustable-speed DC motor & data acquisition system. Firstly, the system scheme is designed according to the function requirements, then the type-selection of load adjustable-speed DC motor controller and the hardware designing is implemented, at last, the type-selection of hardware connection and the software developing of every part of the data acquisition system are completed.The DC motor which is driven by SRM works as a generator, which could runs in 4 quadrants, tracks phase and frequency of three-phase AC due to the adoption of Siemens 6RA70 series rectifier, the power generated by the DC motor is fed back to the grid, achieving energy saving of high power test system.The test system features powerful functions, friendly interface and convenient operation, besides, real-time monitoring of all parameters and automatic acquisition of desired characteristic curve and testing data are available.
