As one part of the whole design for microcomputer protection device, the man-machine mutual interface software take up an important status. The traditional way of developing the man-machine mutual interface software is to write a programme which runs under the lower section, when the man-machine mutual fuction changes, the man-machine mutual interface software changes accordingly, so the large amount of code alterations reduces the developing efficiency of the man-machine mutual interface software. To shorten the developing period and enhance the development efficiency of the man-machine mutual interface, this paper will do some studies in the R&D and the design to the man-machine configuration software and its application used in the microcomputer protection device, moreover, the practical and valuable study has been got.The design of the configuration software has been proposed, which used in the microcomputer protection device, and the software can create the man-machine mutual interface. The man-machine mutual interface software is divided into developing environment and running environment, the developing environment of configuration software works in personal computer, the running environment works in man-machine module. It is the tool which can design field control process and interfacial control by block building. It can control various control objects of the system field environment, the control objects can be concluded as various basic graphics and interface elements, the simple and intuitionistic man-machine mutual interface can be built by establishing the control connection of the basic graphics and interface elements. The collectivity design and function structure of the developing environment for the configuration software has been proposed by the research of the collectivity structure for the man-machine interface software. The man-machine mutual interface software is developed and debugged by means of object-orient programme under the circumstance of Visual C++ integration development.The software is divided into the drawing module of power system wiring diagram and the interface components drawing module according to its function; The power system wiring diagrams are composed of the vector graphs of the electrical equipments, so the module can be realized by the found of the vectorgraph system and graph element database. The drawing course is as follows: firstly, choose the fitable graph element from the graph element database, then fill the vectorgraph with bitmap, finally, record the component's properties. The paper explains the design and realization of the two modules in detail, an in-depth study to the realization of the vectorgraph system and the drawing process has been made, the paper also analyse the drawing process of the vectorgraph and the realization of the map operation, and the filling method of the bitmap flies. The memory function of the graph data is realized by the database, the method of data storing by the database and the design of graph element database are described. The design of this software well solved the diffticult problems about development and maintenance of man-machine mutual interface software for microcomputer protection.The software application examples in microcomputer protection system for training state clearly to have a very high practicability.
